Planning for the 2011 poster session has begun and you should expect it to be as fantastic (or more) than last year’s event. Information about the SoIC Poster Session will be posted here and updated as information becomes available. Traditionally, this is a joint event put on by GISA and CSGSA, funded by the School of Informatics and Computing.
Generally, keep in mind that you should be thinking about a project you are working on this year and create a poster about what you’ve done to be presented late in the Spring semester. ANY projects, research, or work you’ve been doing this year is eligible to present! When it’s time to submit your entry and prepare for the session, you’ll find out. (Don’t worry, well post all kinds of messages around the buildings and in your email inbox so you don’t miss this opportunity to show off your work.) The posters are judged by SoIC faculty and winners are awarded prizes of some kind. This event is probably one of the best opportunities you’ll have to see what your peers in SoIC are up to and begin building a network of interdisciplinary SoIC research friends!
